Wanted: One Goblin Hobby

mood: contemplative


So I have this goblin in my WIP. He's minion to a human treasure hunter and glamours himself to appear human--at least at this point I think he's a goblin, but at any rate he's not human. 

What I need is a hobby for him, something simple and portable. Any thoughts? Creating cat-bone scrimshaw, embroidering hankies, tattooing himself?

How about animal fetishes, like carving fetish necklaces? Or small representations of whatever treasures they're hunting or have already found?

I love the idea of having him make representations of what they are hunting for. Sort of a hidden clue for readers to pick up on.

Puppetry would be funny as heck. I could combine it with origami. Hmmm-mm.

He does like spiders but I'm not sure how that could work into a hobby. Unless he collects them and keeps them. That doesn't seem very portable though.
